Well, i guess it was like a month ago, where there i am, proudly asking whether both Ern and Vui Nee are interested to visit my humble little hometown since Vui Nee will be in Singapore for a week. I was pretty excited when both of them actually agreed to come over during the short weekends and i went ahead to start planning the itineraries. Most of the itineraries planed was eating, eating and again eating and when the both of them saw my email, they were pretty shock cause everything that i wrote are all places where we can eat.
So, off we went to Kluang on a Saturday morning. In fact, all of us do looked like Zombie caused we did not really sleep the night before due to the clubing session we had at Rebel, Clarke Quay. We only managed to nap for a few hours in the bus and damn we are all really in bad shape. When we reached Kluang, it was oredi afternoon and the 1st destination we went was the beef noodles which both me and my bro missed it pretty much.
I tell you, this Tong Jiat beef noodle shop serves the best beef noodles in town and eventhought Ern was not a beef person, she tend to like it as well and realise there was no beef smell in it.
After Lunch, we head off to my little little cozy home. Both Ern and Nee loved my home especially my mother's garden. They were fasinated with the flowers and snap a few photos of it.
T____T Never ask me to join. Take sendiri :( sad sad
After lunch and shower, we head off to the town and i brought them around. Showed them our so called "gigantic shoping malls" and also did look around for some kids clothes for Nee's friend's daugther. When it was evening, we headed off to the new Rail Kluang which was our most famous coffee shop in Kluang.
Both me and Nee took Coffee whereas Ern took Sirup Bandung as she don't like coffee.
We took this Sambal Pau, and to my surprise, it was real good and guess what, it was my 1st time trying it. Sua Ku kan?
One of the reason of my trip back to Kluang is also to celebrate my mum's be- earlier bday, so we have some little bday celebration during the night with our close neighbours. Three of us hangout till late evening at Rail Kluang then head off home. Spend 15 minutes at home, discussed about the dinner menu with my dad and again we have to go out again to the restaurant. During weekends, the restaurant usually will be pack with people and we will have to wait for about 1 hour plus for the food to be serve. Therefore three of us headed off to the restaurant 1st to pre- order the food and wait.
After fourty five minutes of waiting, my family and neighbours finally came over to the restaurant. My parents brought our grandmother along as well and the moment my ah ma arrived and saw Ern, she was smilling from a distance and when she walked nearer to her, she said a sentence in Hokkien. She said, "Oh my, you really looked like my granddaugther" (which is refering to me). Everyone at the table started laughing and then realise we both do looked the same. Haha, so many remarks about me and Ern looking alike. Its funny how my grandma react but hell yes, i agreed, we do at times looked really alike.
Anyway, we all did enjoyed the dinner very much and thanks to my neighbours, they brought a beautiful and delicious cake to celebrate my mum's bday.
My beloved mama and her cake.

It was really an enjoyable night. Wanted to bring Ern and Nee out for Ramlee burger for supper but everyone was too tired due to the clubing, the night before. So too bad, we missed out the yummy burger and went to bed. Everyone slept like a log especially Nee. She dozed off within 3 seconds that night and did not respond to both me and Ern when we called her. Haha....
Then the next day, guess where we went for Breakfast? Haha, back to Rail Station again. Well, intially i wanted to bring them to the Indian street to try out some tosai and roti canai, but after hearing what i had describe about the nasi lemak and other food that Rail Kluang served, Ern just can't resist the temptations.
So, we head off to Rail Kluang and ordered Nasi Lemak, Mee Rebus and Pau Sambal again. We just can't get Pau Sambal out of our mind. It was just too lovely. :P
After breakfast, we drove around and i brought them to the temple which in Mandarin, is called 德教会. This temple planned a very special gift for Nee and that's why Nee wanted to visit the temple when i told her we do have one in Kluang as well.
At 德教会
Good times passes pretty fast, soon it was time for us to get ready and catch the 12.30pm bus. Kakak cooked us my favourite "mee hun gao" and both Nee and Ern felt in love with it as well. It was great and i simple love her homemade fishball as well. :)
No doubt it was really a short trip to Kluang but im glad both Ern and Nee enjoyed themselves. It was indeed a fun time spending time at home with my family. Do hope they are able to visit Kluang again and try some other good food that they are unable to eat especially the Ramlee Burger.

Since when did Rail Station come out with Sambal Bun? Don't say that you are "suai ku" cause' as a Kluang girl I do not even know this thing exists. Damn...I must be away from home for so freaking long that I do not even know where is Tong Jiat Beef noodle located at. Also it took me sometime to recognize the famous temple that you brought VNee to.
